Every day I speak to clients who are high-achievers and leaders but they’re stressed. This is not the daily manageable stress of getting everything done, but a deeper level of anxiety.
The pain of not living their best lives.
The failure of not being the kind of mom, wife & leader they want to be.
The disappointment of failing with food over and over again.
Many have been on anti-anxiety medicines. They live life in black & white, feeling like an impostor. They so deeply want to be fulfilled & living their purpose but they can’t say anything because according to society, they’ve got it “all” on paper.
I get it. I’ve been there too.
All the while you come home after a healthy eating day, sit on the sofa and binge. Or you eat to reward yourself. Or you overeat to soothe yourself.
So what is the problem truly here – the stress or the food?
Many of my clients have tried meditation, mindfulness & yoga before they join us. Though it works sometimes, it’s not reliable at all. It helps them “manage” their symptoms but doesn’t give them freedom. Food is always there in the back of their mind like a strained beast waiting to jump out.
Almost all my clients have tried diets, healthy eating and willpower. This fails for 100% of women. Mostly, it makes the binges feel even more out of control.
For you to free yourself from this prison of food, you need a multi-pronged approach.
Just mindfulness doesn’t work. Food is a physical experience which needs a physical solution. A solution which restores your healthy relationship with food and banishes the beast from your mind.
Just food doesn’t work either. You need to identify and unlearn patterns of self-sabotage that you’ve cultivated for years. Being a perfectionist, an over-achiever, a giver – all that has led to your success – is also holding you back from the next level with food & in your life.
This is why it’s so difficult for women to claim back their lives when they try it themselves.
If you’ve never had a healthy relationship with food, how do you want what it looks like and how to get there?
If you’re sabotaging yourself, it’s because these things are your blindspots – how can you heal them without a mentor to help you through it?
And how could something like a diet, therapy or willpower help with these core issues? You need to fix the root cause (not just the symptoms) and with the help of someone who specializes in this (not just a general therapist).
That, my friend, is the key to how our amazing clients quietly find ease, joy and normalcy around food.
They get their time & energy back to live the life they want.
They find freedom and control again.
They finally step into their full power and light, confident and relaxed.
If you’re aching for this freedom & authenticity, but you’ve been struggling with food for years, we need to talk and get you back into your joy. Grab a free spot on my calendar before they’re gone by going to https://myspoonfulofsoul.com/apply
